SNAP Interactive, a publicly traded company, is seeking a VP of Marketing to lead all marketing efforts and collaborate with the executive team on several new product launches. Reporting directly to the CEO, the is an excellent organizational leadership role, requiring intimacy with a broad spectrum of digital marketing disciplines.

The ideal candidate has strategic leadership experience of social web and mobile products, and mastery of performance digital marketing and user acquisition via paid, social and organic channels.  With products at every lifecycle stage, the candidate must be equally comfortable with growth hacking a new product as refreshing the brand of a mature product.  The VP role is expected to be highly motivated and self sufficient, with strong analytical skills and an understanding of subscription-based B2C services.



  • Lead Snap’s marketing and user acquisition effort to drive the highest marketing ROI for our products
  • Initiate paid user acquisition to drive growth for mature products historically driven by organic growth
  • Give strategic guidance to launch teams of new product initiatives, including naming, branding, launch planning and growth hacking
  • Lead the sourcing and testing of new user acquisition channels / partners, including paid, SEO, social, influencer, video, PR, etc.
  • Constantly seek optimization opportunities to improve our user acquisition process and methodology
  • Strive for analytical excellence maximizing return and increasing efficiency
  • Communicate marketing highlights and data analytics to key management internally & externally

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of digital consumer marketing and user acquisition experience with a focus on developing/optimizing online or mobile marketing programs
  • Successful experience managing, growing and leading a high-performance user acquisition team, including a director and two manager level reports
  • Metrics driven marketer with experience with Facebook, SEO, Google AdWords (SEM), display marketing, ad networks, and testing methods
  • History of stepping up to solve problems beyond your position’s scope
  • Able to translate complex data into executive level conclusions and action items
  • Understanding of consumer-focused web platforms and web analytics a plus
  • Understanding of consumer marketing of social applications and familiarity with online dating
  • BA/BS degree, MBA preferred
